TMBDOS! Episode 69: The "Meatballs" Franchise.

Lee and Daniel are back to finish off their second run of sex comedies. This week they look at the four films in the "Meatballs" franchise, although they mostly focus on the final two parts. Is it really a franchise? Are any of the sequels any good at all? Should they do a commentary track for "Meatballs Part II"? Tune in to find out. This time out Lee and Daniel take a sharp detour from the more overt T&A comedies and look into three films that deal with sexual issues on a more serious level (although there's many dick and fart jokes to be had). We look at Kevin Smith's "Clerks" (1994), "Clerks II" (2006), and "Chasing Amy" (1997). Don't expect an in-depth look at all three films, as that would require a much longer podcast. Instead, we just try and break down some of the major sexual themes in each film. Also, we also cover what we've been watching and play yet another round of Movie God.

Lee and Daniel return for part four of a spring-long look at sex comedies from various eras. This time out we go straight into a flat-out softcore sex comedy with "Busty Cops" (2004), and then we return to another Crown International Pictures release in 1982's "The Beach Girls". Lee, Daniel and Paul are all together this time out for our third episode in our extended spring series looking at sex comedies. This time around Lee has chosen three semi-related films released by Crown International Pictures in the mid-to-late 1970s.
