Tuesday May 02, 2017
Lee and Daniel are joined this week by their friend Kit Power, making his return in the guest host position, to cover the Raoul Walsh-directed "White Heat" (1949), starring James Cagney, and Jules Dassin's "Night and the City" (1950), starring Richard Widmark. 1940s iPods and dated 1990s references somehow make their way into the conversation. The hosts also cover what they have watched as of late.

Welcome to the first episode of Blood on the Tracks, a sub-podcast of TMBDOS!, devoted to celebrating and exploring film soundtracks and scores. A new episode will be available at the end of every month. These will mostly be solo-casts, thus they will be more akin to the Intermission episodes, but hopefully you'll be able to overlook the awkardness of the host trying to fill dead air and just enjoy the music.

Sunday Apr 23, 2017
This week Lee and Daniel take a look at Sam Peckinpah's boozy crime/revenge tale, "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia" (1974). Is it a late Peckinpah masterpiece, or is it just a mess? Also talked about: what they've watched as of late (including the new MST3K), and they read a couple of listener comments.

Lee and Daniel continue their look at crime films. This week they tackle the lonely, quiet getaway drivers of "The Driver" (1978) and "Drive" (2011) in a big episode. They also cover what they've watched as of late and Lee announces an upcoming podcast that will be debuting under the TMBDOS! Radio banner at the end of the month. What's it going to be about? Well, here's a hint: this episode is filled with more soundtrack music than usual.

Before they bid Paul farwell, what they've watched as of late is also chatted about. Monday Mar 06, 2017
Monday Mar 06, 2017
As usual with these intermission episodes, the original plans fell through for an official episode, so here's a small fix for those who expect an episode every week. This time out friend of the show Kit Power has come through like a superstar to give you all a verbal beat-down of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (2016), and then he has much more positive things to say about "The LEGO Batman Movie" (2017). Lee is also on this saying some things of less importance.

Lee and Daniel are back to cover two crime movies featuring the vocal, acting, and visual talents of Ann-Margret: one unfairly-judged, in 1964's "Kitten With a Whip", and one almost totally lost to time in 1969's "Rebus". Also covered: what the hosts have watched as of late; listener comments; and they do get into a short rant about female models and sex workers, who were often used in many of the films of this era, dropped, and then forgotten about.

Finally sitting down to do an episode that was planned months beforehand, Lee and Paul chat about John Russo's "Midnight" (1982) & Joseph Ellison's "Don't Go in the House" (1979). Paul also chats a bit about his time attending the 2016 Living Dead Weekend and the people he talked to at the event, including Russo himself. This one is pretty loose and lacking fucks, as both hosts are drunk, but it's generally a pretty fun conversation, and they do try to review the films. What more can you ask for on a free podcast? Lee and Daniel start off 2017 by looking at Curtis Hanson's epic 1950s crime picture "L.A. Confidential" (1997). A lot of time is spent talking about the characters, the way the action is shot, and if the film is a truly a noir or not. They also talk about the differences between the film and the James Ellroy novel of the same name, that it was adapted from. Also covered: what they've watched as of late (WARNING: there's some "Rogue One" spoilers) and a good deal of listener comments are read and responded to.

TMBDOS! Episode 84: The Best Things We Watched in 2016.
Friday Dec 30, 2016
Friday Dec 30, 2016
The year of 2016 is over, so time to talk about what movies the hosts liked best! Like in previous best-of episodes, Lee and Daniel come together to talk about the best films they've watched for the first time in the year, not strictly just films from that year. Lee failed to realise that he had a top eleven instead of a top ten. Daniel also has a short list of performances he enjoyed from first-time watches this past year. This is a very casual and lightly edited episode, not quite up to our usual shitty standards, but the conversation is quite fun. TMBDOS! wishes all of our listeners a happy new year. Stay safe. Be good. Well, not too good, but you get our drift.

What echos the Christmas/Holiday season better than "Q - The Winged Serpent" (1982)? If there's anything more fitting, Lee and Daniel don't want to know about it. Yes, this week they tackle Larry Cohen's low-budget throw-back to the great 1950s monster films, discuss what they've watched as of late, and respond to an abundance of listener feedback.

This week Paul returns to join Lee in a quick and fairly casual chat about "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" (1982) and "Night of the Creeps" (1986). That's right, it's Tom Atkins times two this week. What they've watched as of late and listener comments are also covered. It should be noted that the audio quality isn't great this time out. Lee had his mic turned up in the Google+ Hangout they recorded in by mistake, so Paul comes in a bit low in the mix. Apologies in advance.

This week Lee and Daniel take a look at two blaxploitation films with a female lead that don't star Pam Grier (don't worry, they'll eventually get to her as well). Up for review first is the Bondish "Cleopatra Jones" (1973), and then the cheap, chopsocky cash-in "TNT Jackson" (1974). Listener comments are also covered. This one is a bit more of a casual episode again -- short and sweet and hard to defeat. Take a hard line and you'll have a bad time. Turn that frown upside down or you'll enter demolition town. It has kicks to the head that will leave you dead. Okay, we'll stop now.
